Newby to fishing
We have been to the Happy Island about 6 times now. Have never fished but last year I bought a boat really got into fishing.
Hope to get out and learn what kind of fish there are there, and what ones I can eat. I have to post 2 more times before I can PM anyone if I"m doing this right. Ballyhoo I hear is the bait to use, but for what fish I have no clue. Also yozuri is the lure to use I think? |

Another revival of a long dead post.
@armada - Thanks for this great write-up on your experience. I've caught some small cuda off the little point next to the Renaissance last time I was in Aruba. At Spanish Lagoon I saw much larger cuda (maybe > 24") but couldn't get them to bite. Have you been back since this report? Any more reports? Quote:
