tight lines there are plenty of larger ones where Andrea said. Figure 4 to 4 inches across the back. I had MY wife looking for me when I was at Malmok. Now we know you can turn of rocks there ( low tide is better ) and if you look carefully and are fairly fast you can get real small ones 3/8" to 1" across. These smaller ones have gotten me a real nice 6# plus Bone fish and this afternoon a Snook in the 3# class. Makes me Happy!

Very nice! Congrats on the catches! Did you catch them at Malmok area? Sight fishing to the bone or did you just blind cast?

I'd rather have the smaller ones for the bones like you said. Plus I'll be fishing in the Malmok area more often anyway. So, during low tide, you just flipped over the rocks to find the crabs?

Yes the small crabs are at Malmok and along that stretch. Have not seen a Bonefish in 2 days but did well on small Cuda's at Rogers beach. Rogers is a real nice beach over in San Nicholas

    Good luck
