DePalm Island Day Tour?

The DePalm day tour look like a blast. If you were two "very close to 40 year old women with no kids" is it a waste of time?

no i do not think it'd be a waster of time
i think that you might enjoy a tour.

unsure if depalm is the one you want though.

a less expensive and more informative tour can be had by 2 of our members

private message TAXIDRIVER (using the private message feature) aka
Bully

or CYRILO CROES (using the private message feature)

both of these gentleman will give you a private tour for a very reasonable price and give you a resident's perspective. they both drive large SUV vehicles or passenger van.

you will get a lesson in geography, civics, history and flora fauna.

the depalm tour is on a large motorcoach. nice, luxurious.....comfort....
but IMO, impersonal.

do something out of the ordinary!!!
i stake my reputation on the 2 guys that i mentioned!!!!

Good information. The "tour" I saw wasnt really a tour, they pick you up and take you to the island where you can do some sort of all inclusive all day gig. Water park, snorkel, all you need food & drink etc for $115 per person.

oooooo good!!
i have been to the depalm island and participated.
the water park is geared towards ages 12 and under.
the food is mediocre (IMO)
the booze/beverages are plentiful and good.
the snorkeling is ok, but the reef is a mess.
the blue parrot fish are amazing.

worth $115 pp i dunno.

imo,
i would do a snorkel tour on JOLLY PIRATE or TRANQUILO or OCTOPUS for half the price of depalm island.

let me look around to find more reviews on depalm island.

disclosure.........i was a HUGE fan of depalm island and the snorkeling there, then they went from $8 with no food and no amenities, to now $$$$$$ with lots of amenities. i liked the old $8 days.
