If you're looking to get fully certified then I would recommend doing that prior to heading to Aruba. You don't want to spend your time sitting in a classroom while on vacation. If you're not leaving until June, there's plenty of time.

One suggestion is take a referral class. You do your class and pool work at home and do your dives in Aruba.

As for my choice of shops on Aruba, I would pick Pelican Adventures. They're located on Palm Beach, between the Holiday Inn and Playa Linda. Their staff is excellent.
