RE: DIVING CERTIFICATION

Although I didn't get tested in Aruba, I went on my first "real" dive in Aruba in March since getting my Open Water Cert in the US. Being a little gun shy, I opted for a shallow dive - the Pedernalis (20-25'). In addition to the certified divers on the trip, there were several "students" taking their tests at this same location. All I can tell you is I heard no complaints from the student (or anyone) afterwards. The company was Pelican Watersports, and the friendly instructor was Angelino. I'm sure they have you do the usual - flood/clear mask, buddy breathe, emergency ascent, navigation, remove/replace bc underwater, "lose" and replace reg. etc. I'm sure you'll do fine! Good Luck.
