    Diving for new divers

My husband and I were open water certified last April, but need to dive with an instructor still. I am still very cautious when diving.....but really want to dive in Aruba.....any suggestions for diving in Aruba....?

I can't say enough Great things about them !! Tell JP Candy and Don said hello !! P.S they will pick you up at your resort too and they have a great little restaurant /bar for after diving lunch !!

I've done my open water and advanced open water with Red Sail. The staff has changed a bit over the years, but they have all been fantastic and professional. The Pedernalis, Antilla and Arashi/Blue Reef dives should be no problem, even for a novice diver. I have around 50 logged dives with them over the last few years and a bunch that never went into the book.

Our 15 year old daughter received her open water certification through Aruba Watersports. They are a small operation so she had one on one instruction without the price of a "private" instructor

Our last trip dh (a former divemaster) and dd were taken on a shore dive by JADS. It was treacherous. The dive guide ended up turning back and abandoned the dive before it was finished. Dh was surprised that the guide did not do a better job of assessing the situation before they were in the water.

Dd being a novice diver was petrified. Fortunately she loves diving enough that we were able to get her back in the water after the bad experience.
