Thumbs down do not use watapana tours/a.t.v rental!!!!!!

my husband and i were recently in aruba for our honeymoon(sept3-19th) we love aruba so much but our experience renting atv's with the Watapana Tours/ATV extravaganza was horrible....they gave us the biggest pieces of junk to rent for a full day @120.00 a person=240.00$ plus tax. we have it all on videotape the junky atv's they 1st gave to us and we said we wanted diff. ones so after a few min. back and forth they gave us diff. ones. then about 3 hrs into our excursion and on the complete other side of the island my husbands chain keeps popping off , he continues to fix it but after 2 hrs, and ruined brand new swim trunks and still not a working a.t.v we found some locals from the island who helped us by calling the company and informing them of what happened. the lady@ the tour co. was extremely rude, ( the lady with a gigantic mole on her face. she wouldnt give us her name or the owners name either.)they sent out a mechanic to fix it- mind you we wasted approx 3.5 hrs of our paid time now b/c of their junk mobiles, he coulnd fix it and they still charged our credit card full price for the service we didnt get.. i do not recommend this company to anyone we have it on videotape: their rude behavior, the pieces of junk they rent, and their outrageous prices. save yourself money and time do not rentfrom them!!!!!!!!!

Watapana Tours - Fraudulent charges

I rented ATVs at Watapan tours with 12 other people through the hotel. While at the hotel the concierge service helped us book and agree on a price. When we got to Watapana, signed all their paperwork and were about to ride out of their facility, they said we couldn't go because they needed to charge us extra. After 1 hour of additional haggling we had to unfortunately re-negotiate the price. On our journey 5 of the ATVs broke due to mechanical problems. One ATV was damaged and we were willing to pay for the damages. When we got back to Watapana facility, they explained to us that the charge was 250 dollars (the owner and mechanic made the estimate) and we were willing to pay. They put together an invoice and handed it to us with a 1800 dollar bill !!!!!!!!!!!. Where did this come from ???? what happened to 250 dollars??? Almost everything was a fraud on this bill. As an example a 400 dollar charge for not gasing up the ATVs (we all put gas into the ATVs about a mile away at a gas station). Another charge was for damages. We went around and tried to identify the damages but non were credible. The ATVs they gave us were so old and so banged up that it's unbelievable that they are allowed to rent them to begin with. We sat in their office the next morning for over 1 1/2 hrs, they kept producing new invoices and it got down to 1300 dollars. We explained we would only pay the original damage fee of 250 dollars. We finally walked out because we were going no where. When I got back home, two days later they charged me 1300 dollars to my credit card. I'm affraid that even though i'm disputing the charges the visa dispute department is not equiped to do anything and I would eventually have to pay this !

This company needs to be closed down for fraud since they just charge people fraudulent fees to maintain their crappy equipment and they rip tourists off.
