Good fishing for an 8 year old and his Dad

They have been having a great time fishing this summer and want to continue the fun when we arrive in Aruba this X-mas. Not interested in the deep sea fishing, and don't want to go out too far. Any suggestions??
Thanks so much!!

If you would want to go out in a boat, try bottom fishing. They don't go out very far & anchor. You fish over the side of the boat. Fish are small enough that your 8 year can reel them in. Also are very tasty. We usually catch Snapper, Grouper, & Trigger fish. All are about 8 - 10 in. long.

I always use Roberto's.

I've been out fishing on 3 different boats & like Roberto's the best. Probably gone at least 6 times with him. At the moment he only has a boat for bottom fishing.

Tom & Karen, my Dad would really enjoy something like this but has been staying off of boats due to really bad knees. (waiting on the insurance for 2 replacements). Question is do they stay right off of Palm Beach where the water is calm? Is it possible to be seated and fish over the side? TIA for any help.
