it is fun bit is expensive, no getting around it.
weigh it out half day is a little more economical the food there is mediocre at best the mixed drinks are ok, beer plentiful and cold the snorkeling is ok, but the reef is a mess with death. the water park is fun but any kid over age 11 will be bored with it. if the price was under $25 pp i would go in a heartbeat.

Helen & Sonny
We have been to DePalm Island several times. We took the full day, with lunch included. They have a water park that is absolutely great for kids. You can go snorkeling right off the pier, or you can just relax on a lounge chair, soak up the sun and relax. Their are other sites to see...like snubbering...similar to scuba diving, but that is extra. All in all it is a fun day and well worth the price.
There is also a dinner/cruise in the evening that is awesome. I don't think the young children would appreciate this however. The food they serve at the dinner/cruise is excellent and the service can't be beat. You would think you are in a swank restaurant. They also have music that you can dance to in between courses. I highly recommend the dinner/cruise and the day trip to DePalm Island. We have been going to Aruba for almost ten years now and wouldn't miss out on going to DePalm Island. Hope this helps. Helen

After going to Aruba for twelve years we just did De Palm Island and the Trek Dive.. Amazing time!! First off you have to pay more for the Trek dive but well worth it. If you are going to eat you must do so before 3
m or you will be stuck eating burgers and hotdogs. If you want a beach you can actually swim in you have to go down to second beach past the basketball hoop otherwise you will be walking/swimming on rocks..
