    HeliTours Aruba

As others have mentioned on this board, the helicopter tour of Aruba is fantastic. After a couple of years of watching the machine wing over my house and other places, I finally spent the money. This was a combined business/pleasure mission because I wanted to photograph some land in which I have some interest. Therefore, we took off from the seaport, ran up along the coast to the Marriott then turned inland toward Paradera, back toward Spanish Lagoon and my neighborhood of Savaneta, then out to Vader Piet by the windmills before running the coast back to the seaport. I put together a video, with some hotels, restaurants, and such labeled in the footage.

    See: http://bentpage.wordpress.com/2011/0...-flying-aruba/

The pilot is a nice guy from Germany, very skilled, very friendly. I flew in this type of helicopter (Robinson R44) many time with a helicopter instructor at my local airport back in Philadelphia. He would have been impressed by this guy's ability to orbit on station and hit the marks exactly.

It does cost quite a bit, but get three people together and go!

I'd love to see your video, and tried to watch it on 2 different devices, but get a message saying it's been blocked in this country due to copyright grounds.

I'm checking on why it can't be viewed. Might be because of the music I put over it.

I'm uploading another version of the video without music. It's the music that prevented it from being viewed because I put on Sinatra tunes.

Will post when it is ready.

Okay, I fixed the video. Took off the music. Now you can watch it. Of course, all you hear is rotor slap from the helicopter, but I dropped that to a minimum to make it less annoying.

    Enjoy.

San Nic 44, That video was AWSOME!!! You sure have a steady arm, or was that Heather running the camera? I did see your house and you went alittle fast over Mangle Halto but I think I seen me down there snorkling. Ha! Ha! That was very nice and I am going to pass this to alot of my friends. If you are going to still be on the Island, will you and your bride join us Sept 11th at Sultans? 6:45 pm. I don't like the date but I would love to have you 2 join us. Kent Gerber
