Help ID My Fish

Help ID My Fish-fish-08b.jpg

I hope I've done this correctly....if not, my aruba.com expert wife will help me tonight. I've attached (I think) a picture of a fish I caught in 2004, and two pictures of one caught two weeks ago. I initially thought they were both barracuda...but, they're obviously different. Help!

Can anyone please ID the fish?

#1 = Great Barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda)

Will go through my reef fish book for the others.

Are #2 & #3 the same fish? Are you sure they are not all Great Barracudas? The only other 2 fish in that family are the Sennet and Guaguanche but have shorther snouts. Though if they were caught close off shore, the Guaguanche likes shallow waters, flats, and grassy areas.

Guaguanche

The second two pictures from the original post and the new one attached are all the same fish. The mouth looks too long to be a barracuda?

I agree about the snout. Do you have any full length photos with the fins and other markings?

That looks like a Flat needlefish. I see many while snorkeling, especially around the wreck. Also see plenty of Cuda.
