We climbed 2 yrs ago. Something like 560 steps, make sure you wear tennis shoes! It was awesome at the top!! I am a little scared of heights, but being on top didn't bother me it was the climb down. There are not many steps with railings to hang on to, so I used my BF. Glad we did it, but once was enough!

Thanks for the advice. I think we'll give it a try.

Excellent advice. I hiked to the top after four dives in the previous 30 or so hours. My legs were rubber by the time I got halfway up, let alone to the top.

Great view and you can see Venezuela on a clear day. Remember to take the binocs, camera, and alot of water for your climb. My legs were like rubber on the climb down - but I'd still do it again!
