Where can I get a resort dive in a pool - then go out to the ocean for a shallow dive? How much should we expct to pay?

Where can we parasail? Is there a weight limit on this activity?? How much should we expct to pay?

I have read that "Red Sail" is a good company - true? Are they safe?

We also want to try the waverunners - same ?? - how much, how long, etc.

Thanks!!

One of the largest tour operators on the island. They have contracts with many of the cruise lines so I would think they are very reputable.

Here are some idea's that my family(25 of us) enjoy and have enjoyed in the past...
1. Palm Pleasure- 100 ft catamaran, moderate priced, sail...2-5pm, open bar, shirley temples, snorkle equip provided. Two stops, GREAT SUPER boat. Great staff. Our group aged 8 mnts-75yrs all loved it. DOne is 3x
2. Forget water park on depalm island. Very babish
3. Banana Boat - rough, but my teens loved it
4. Tubing- kids loved it.
Hope this gives you some ideas for a great vacation

Scuba

The resort scuba course (in the pool for training and then one dive in the open water) is usually $89. A few weeks ago my daughter and her bf did this with Red Sail as they had a 25% off coupon. It was a terrible course and they did not cover some of the mandatory skills in the pool. I would not use Red Sail even with a great discount.

I am certified and took a "refresher" course with Unique as that is where I initially became certified. They basically put me in a resort course again which I was fine with. I was able to see what they actually do for new divers in a resort course and they did everything well. Their pre pool briefing covered all of the needed topics, the in pool practice was great, and the instructor was top notch.
