Jeep Tours

HAS ANYONE BEEN ON A JEEP TOUR LATELY? WE WENT ABOUT 7 YEARS AGO WITH ABC TOURS AND IT WAS AWESOME, HOWEVER WE WERE ABLE TO DRIVE OUR OWN JEEPS WITH ONE OTHER COUPLE . I AM SO DISAPPOINTED NOW TO SEE YOU HAVE TO GO IN A 8-10 PASSENGER VEHICLE FACING ONE ANOTHER . WHAT FUN IS THAT? SUCH A SHAME , THEY DEFINATELY HAVE THE BEST ITINERARY!!!

HAS ANYONE GONE WITH ARUBA JEEP SAFARI? ITINERARY LOOKS GREAT AND PRICE IS GREAT. I HAVE WRITTEN REQUESTING INFO ON TYPE OF VEHICLES.

WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN DEPALM OR WATAPANA.
NEED TO DECIDE SINCE WE ARE GOING IN JUST 3 MORE WEEKS. CANNOT WAIT!!!

Just an idea, but since you have been already taken an organized tour, why not just rent a 4 x 4 and strike out on your own and see the sights you want to see at your own pace? ABC & De Palm are the 2 most well known and popular tours.

I agree with Lisa, We have never been on an organized tour, we just rent jeeps every year and go out on our own. Just get a map from your hotel and follow the signs, they are everywhere and will direct you to where you want to go. Just make sure if you go from the lighthouse to natural bridge you take something to drink and sunscreen, if you rent an open air jeep it gets very hot and dry. Sometimes there are folks selling water as well as souveniurs at the gold mill ruins.
