Hello everyone. I've never been to Aruba before, but have a trip booked in February. I have been to numerous places in the Caribbean and enjoy Kayaking. From my research, I can only find one place that does Kayak tours. Just wanted to ask if the members that have been to Aruba know if Aruba Kayak Adventures is really the only company that does them or if there are other options as well?

Also, wanted to ask if renting a vehicle is necessary to get to Hooiberg to climb the mountain?

Any other suggestions on activities for first timers to Aruba would be appreciated as well.

i think the kayak company you mentioned is the only game in town.
depalm used to have a kayak tour but it has been gone for some time now.

i would suggest renting a vehicle for a day for hooiberg and other excursion for a day or 2.

i would also suggest if you do have a rental vehicle head down to baby beach or over to the fallen down natural bridge, lighthouse, alto vista chapel and gold mine ruins. all of that stuff would fit nicely into a day adventure. it is always pretty cool to do an on your own tour!
