local things to do
For all of you who have been going back to the island for years... Can I get some ideas for "non-touristy" things to do? My wife and I are bringing three other couples with us this time and are looking for "off the beaten path" things to do. We will be there October 7th thru the 14th -Thanks, Jim

Here's a local suggestion. Go to Zeerovers in Savaneta. They're located before you get to Flying Fishbone on the ocean road. They have a pool table there that is in the open air pavilion with a view right over the water. They shoot bool, dance to the juke box, and consume adult beverages there. Most all locals and a few ex-pats. You'll also see the daily catch landed, gutted, and cut into filets. Photos are on my blog under Aruba Local Flavor (I think
