btw, is this theater at the palm beach mall the one that's next to mr jazz? if so, the tickets are about $8/pp. the theater is relatively new and thus clean. the screens are average small USA theater size - sits approx 50 pp? the concessions were cheap if i remember correctly - a large popcorn + large soda = $6 or so? overall, the theater is nice.

The cinema next to Mr. Jazz is at Paseo Herencia mall. Palm Beach Plaza mall is behind Paseo Herencia.

Okay in a nutshell. The guy who owns the movie theater in town
and at the Passeo is suing the new movie theater.

The 'Cinema' owner is suing because it's over-saturating the
market and he objects because it is not an 'Aruban' company
operating it.

The other issue is they got their permit and had a period of
time to open the new place which elapsed.

So it's been in appeals for a while and who knows what will happen.
