Is there a place to swim distance in the open water or maybe a group that swims for endurance? I will be there in October and would like to get a couple of long distance swims done in the ocean. Maybe 1-2 miles?

For safety, you need to consider closely where you swim due to boat traffic. Imo, Palm beach would be out of the question.

I have seen people distance swimming along the shoreline of the Tamarijn Resort.

A swim from the northernmost part of the Divi to the southernmost part of the Tamarijn is roughly 3/4 mile.

Thanks. I will check it out. Do you know of any groups that swim there? Maybe a triathlon club?
