There is a fee of $12 for the tour. They're located not too far from the Natural Bridge. You can also have lunch there, too, which is very good.

They're located near the Ayo Rock Formations.
No fee for the Donkey Sanctuary but they do accept donations. You can also buy carrots there to feed the donkeys. We always stop at the grocery store on our way and buy 2 or 3 bags of carrots which is cheaper (but we still make a donation, too.)
Donkey Sanctuary Hours: Saturday - Sunday 10 am - 3 pm; Monday-Friday 9am - 12.30 pm.

Have fun!!

yrs ago we went to a big summer country fair in maine.
2 things caught my eye and made me think

outside the pig barn was a huge bbq area where ribs and pulled pork were being served.
outside the ostrich exhibit/barn, an area where one could sample the ostrich burgers

and
outside the dairy barn ........milkshakes, frappes and ice cream.
although the dairy treats did not involve the death of an animal

the ostrich farm in aruba is fun but if i had to choose 1 it would be the donkey sanctuary. please bring bushels of carrots and peppermint lifesavers. the donkeys will love you forever.

The sanctuary has been able to save many donkeys from being hit by cars, packs of dogs, malnutrition etc. It is run by a very hard working group of volunteers. Well worth a visit. They have limited open hours though. Go early when it is cooler. The adults in our group loved it as much as the kids.

They also have new t-shirts this year which I love (bought a ton of them for gifts when we there in May.) Instead of DKNY (Donna Karan New York), they have DNKY on them - for DONKEY - LOL!! I'm sure this is a possible trademark infringement but I have decided to look the other way....LOL!!
