Parasailing

Hello All! We have officially decided that we are going to return to Aruba next april ! we just went this past april and it was so amazing we just couldnt resist going again!

Anyways, we have both always wanted to go parasailing and was wondering if anyone had any recomendations about which company to go through? Last time we did the ABC jeep tour and Tranquilo sail, so we are looking for something new to do this time! We will most likely be staying at the Tam again so I know we will have to go to a different beach since they dont offer it there , but we dont mind having to drive down to another hotel. Thanks!

We've parasailed with Roberto's Watersports before and would definitely recommend them. We didn't go last year but we'll be there in 9 days and we'll look them up again! I can't exactly remember where on the beach they are but I'm sure the concierge at your hotel could tell you. We stayed at the Marriott Stellaris then so I'm thinking it was up the beach from there (back towards the other hotels....Stellaris is the last one on the end). Good luck and have a great trip!

"You can find ROBERTO'S on the beach in front of the Holiday Inn and in front of the Marriott Ocean Club. Open between 9.00am and 16.30pm. Please pass by, give us a call or e-mail us for more information or to make your reservation.

There are vendors all along Palm Beach offering all types of watersports, parasailing included.

Beth went 2 years ago while I was playing golf, said she enjoyed it but would not do it again, just one of those "I've done that now" types of things. but it does look fun, I say try everything at least once.

$55 single. http://www.arubawatersportcenter.com/pricelist_WS.htm Take a taxi to Palm Beach from the resort. I "think" if you book directly through the hotel's concierge you may be looking at more $$$.

I just came back, I did go parasailing, not sure of the company. It seemed to me that all the places on the beach were calling the same parasailing boats, in other words there were only a few boats servicing all the companies. I checked with several companies and the prices ranges from $50-$55 a person. It was fun and I would do it again, just try to catch it when the wind isn't to strong.
