rates at Morgan's island

Is it just me or do people find the prices at Morgan's island rather expensive?

Send a message via Skype™ to Andrea J.
obscenely expensive.
check out this thread
http://www.aruba.com/forum/f10/morga...95/index4.html

i especially am angry at the prices.
the residents of aruba were very excited to have a waterpark.
however, the pricing is high
makes a family outing almost impossible
and the half day price (3 hrs) is an insult too.

IMO

We will never be going, certainly not at 200.00 + for our family of 4...Sorry water park, could have been a nice place to visit, but the prices are out of control !!! I hope the owners read this board.

Well, we won't be going either! You would think that they might have an opening special especially when not everything is open?

Anyway, I wish them well!!

You have to be kidding, they just closed a water park-entertainment center in Myrtle Beach, because they charged to much...this one will not last charging those prices.

Especially not in this economy. People who are still going to Aruba are going to begin cutting expenses while on the island. I looked a the price for a day at De Palm Island today and that was about $95 pp. Another extremely expensive day especially for a family.

Those prices may make sense in Nebraska where the nearest beach is a looooong way off but they're on a small island surrounded by water. Most residents would have a longer drive to go there than to get to a good beach.

Please don't get me started on DePalm island. I love the palm pleasure cruises but the island is another story.

I wonder if they have local rates.... Most places like that actually offer a local rate for residents. I know Depalm Island does and so do many other places.

I was there 2 weeks ago. They offerred locals a special deal because of the Aruban holiday. 2 adults and 4 children cost $42 for the whole day. What a great deal!
