The Palm Pleasure of Depalm Tours is quite a magnificient boat, its 100 ft, rides 8 ft off the water and is a nice boat. have been on it 5x in 4 years. Kids and adults both like it. They have the rope mesh things to lay on over the water, snacks and open bar. We have done both sunset and snorkle. The boat also has cover and all the equip you need, however, I would recommmend you bring your own mouth piece. You never feel crowded on this boat.

When you say, your own mouthpiece, do you mean your own snorkel equipment, mask and tube thing , I would have to look where I could get a good mask and stuff, don't mind, seems like it makes more sense, and certainly cleaner

    Snorkeling/Sailing Recommendations

I've read good things about Black Pearl and went to their website, but it looks like they do it later in the day (4-7). I'm not sure if I want to go that late, I'm kinda paranoid.

Any suggestions or should I just go for it?

If you do go out earlier, be careful. The sun is extremely powerful in the middle of the day at those latitudes.

Good advice Chadd! Maybe that's why they go out later!

Just curious, what concerns you about going out at 4:00?

I was on the Black Pearl last year and loved it. Have booked it again this year. They used to have an earlier sails also, but may that's only during the "high season."

Anyway, I recommend the Pearl and enjoyed quiet sail and the snorkeling. I think I've seen a few reviews on Trip Advisor that were not impressed with the snorkeling; but, I live smack dab in the middle of the U.S. in Nebraska so simply seeing the ocean is a treat. Seeing fish in it is a bonus, and we saw plenty.

we tried to book the pearl yesterday, and they are nearly booked for all of October.

tried to book a day, from october1-10, and all were booked tight. ewf

i looked at several other of the cruises, and looks like we might just skip, since black pearl is booked and not too thrilled with the other sailing options.
