Snuba
Has anyone done Snuba with red Sail My boys are 8-10, and tried it in the pool last year with no problems. They were just to young last year, and were unable to go out.
Thanks in advance for any feedback. Matt

My wife and I did it with DePalm a couple years ago. She wasn't very comfortable with it and I hated feeling like I was on a leash. We did it at the Antilla, so I was always trying to go deeper than the hose would allow. At one point we were surrounded by a huge school of small fish, that part was very cool. It's an interesting step between scuba and snorkeling, it pushed me towards getting my scuba certification though.

Matt, did the snuba thing with DePalm also...cousin and niece did fine, I freaked for God knows what reason...so took scuba lessons this summer to prove to myself I was okay in water...loved it and am glad the snuba failure happened....will probably take a couple of friends of ours on snuba adventure this November again, but hopefully I will only be bothered by the tethered hose and nothing else.....
they only allow you to go 20ft, which is not very deep, do it should be an enjoyable experience for the boys.....kids seem to have less problems than we as adults do because they are not hampered with the fear we have knowing what could happen....they just enjoy it for what it is worth !!!!! |
