Tours on the island
Hi - My boyfriend and I are deaf. We were wondering if the tours across the island (jeep tours, island sightseeing tours, etc) are worth it for someone who cannot hear. The tours all have speakers that explain what is being seen, etc, correct?
Do you think its worth for a deaf couple to go on these tours at all? How much do you think it was beneficial to understand the tour guide or would you have gotten the same exposure as going on your own? Thanks sooooo much for your opinions in advance. Nothing will be taken offensively!

I would suggest renting a 4 x 4 and touring on your own for at least a day. See the island at your own pace, stop where you like and when you like. Maybe squeeze in some snorkeling as well.

If you like contact this taxi driver bullytaxi79@hotmail.com.
Through his vast contacts, he may know possible taxi drivers who sign. Private tours are $40 an hour for a maximum of 5 people per taxi.
