    Walking tours

My goodness, I am a bundle of questions this morning!!

I know that we cannot do everything there is to do, and I really do not want to overplan us, but we cannot visit Aruba without a little exploration. My son and daughter in law are interested in a walking tour of Oranjestad and as I began to research these tours I found one that toured an Aloe factory and an cigar making factory. Cigar rolling in Aruba?????? Well, this I need to know about! My husband is a farm boy from CT and is one of a very few farmers who is trying to keep a Unique Connecticut River Valley crop alive: Broadleaf tobacco, and so this is one place I think he would enjoy visiting.

Can any of you make suggestions about tours that would include this place, or if there are others that you like? My son in law saw one that included rum making. Oh the things to do!

I really enjoy the Aruba Aloe factory tour. It is short, sweet, air conditioned for the most part and very informative.

The Balashi brewery tour is fun also - if you choose to do that make sure you have a short sleeved shirt on (no tank tops) and closed toed shoes (no sandals/flips)

I too enjoyed the aloe factory tour, my husband was not a fan of it and will never let me live it down it was funny as we were the only 2 on the tour. I still want to try the balashi tour just always forget about it for some reason, maybe I will put it on my vacation list to remember don't feel bad about having questions this forum is wonderful for answering them and giving advice, have fun planning!
