    Weekly snorkel gear rentals?

We're looking to rent snorkel gear for our week in Aruba, but I'm not having much luck narrowing my search to specific businesses. We're not looking for tours, just want to have gear handy when we want to look around.

welcome to the aruba.com community forum

aquawindies as well as redsail and other places rent snorkel gear.
(however it would be cheaper to buy)

    here is aquawindies link

this is the company (leisure pro) that we use.
click the link....the mask, fin, snorkel set is what we bought and are quite happy with.
we have our sets in aruba and here at home.

    way cheaper than renting.

Thanks, Andrea. We have gear, but weren't sure if it was cheaper to pay a bag fee or rent on-site. I guess this answers that question. Now we just have to figure out if there's anywhere on the island to get a cold cocktail on a hot day. ;-)

For anyone in the future, we have rented snorkel gear at Aruba Watersports Center. They are located on Palm Beach between the Occidental and Radisson.

I was wondering this same thing. My husband has his own snorkel stuff, but I do not. Debating buying some. My question is do you pack it luggage or carry on?

    we have done both.
mostly our carry on is reserved for our irreplaceable things...toiletries, scripts, electronics.

if weight is a non issue and you are checking a bag, throw them in your check bag.
