Hello. I am an Aruba lover - and come usually every May and Sept/Oct. But I've never come this late before, as we arrive on Halloween. I usually don't even celebrate in the States, but was wondering if anything special happens in Aruba then? I tried to search some event calendars, such as Moomba Beach (my fav hangout), and don't see anything doing. I did hear mention of a Halloween party at Carlos & Charlies - but that's about the ONLY place I wouldn't go (too touristy, and I'm in my early 30s not 20s). Anyone else know of anything fun going on or where I could even find a good calendar of activities, as we are arriving on the 31st and I won't have time to review papers in advance. Thanks for any advice.

My wife and I are in Aruba every year during Halloween. Garfu's across from El Gaucho is a fun place for that night. It is an upscale nightclub with great ambience. Definitely not for the twenty-somethings. The neighborhood comes alive with kids trick and treating. Kind of fun to watch. Later in the night Garafu's will have a private party, meaning you pay to get in and drinks are discounted. There is live entertainment.

We had a great time a couple of years ago on Halloween at Marriott Stellaris. If you're in the area, stop by. There was all kinds of drinks and music and people in costume in the casino.
