Aruba Among the Best Party Islands around the World

How does everyone feel about Aruba slowly becoming a "party island"?

10 Best Party Islands around the World

According to some, the Electric Festival was a huge success.

Are you looking forward to Aruba becoming another Cancun?

I like it! I like the fact that there is a draw for the younger crowd. As long as I've been visiting there has always been some rowdy night life either downtown or in the high rise area, but that has never interfered with my family vacation in the low rise area. Best of both worlds

Did the festival have a negative impact on those who did not participate?

I think it's awesome that "we" were 4th on a list that included some really excellent spots. The nice thing about Aruba is you can go out and party hard or stay in and relax. We usually do the latter, but we still kick our heels up now and then.

Interesting, I recently read a review on another site which said that even after the sound proofing of the rooms at the Radisson, the guests were kept awake at night by the parties across the street.

Never a problem with us..... and we've stayed at the Radisson each year since 2006.

Aruba Among the Best Party Islands around the World

I hate that it is becoming a party island. We have been coming to Aruba for many years to relax. I hate listening to the constant party music. What ever happened to island music. The music festival this fall (September) was so obnoxious I don't think one of my older sisters will ever return to Aruba. When I am floating out in the sea I don't want to hear the electric festival music in the background. If I wanted that kind of atmosphere I would go to Miami. Just my opinion.

On our recent visit to Palm Beach, there was not much to like

From De Palm Pier, facing the Radisson

facing the Riu beach and Phoenix

At 10 o'clock one night we headed to Casa Tua for a pizza to go, and if you like nightlife and people watching this was the place to be, there were plenty of both...
