With that being said, we like the casino at the Westin. When we stayed there many (too many) years ago on our honeymoon, it was the Concorde and the casino was the biggest in Aruba. It's probably my favorite casino as it seems to draw a friendly crowd. I've always found the dealers to be extraordinarily friendly too, which is saying something in Aruba, because we've only encountered super friendly people on the island over the years. My husband likes the Westin casino, but his favorite is the Marriott.

I think it's fun to visit the casinos at the different resorts if you have the time.

Thank you for the help Corona. I too am a social player although i tend to find myself getting very into it when im there. Does anyone know if there is a texas hold em table at any of the casinos? its the only thing i really like to play besides slots and roulette.

    Your welcome James.

Holiday Inn is where my son has played Texas Hold'em in their poker room. I've heard the Radisson has a poker room too, but I don't know that for sure. If you're just looking for a Hold'em gaming table, other hotels probably have those, and I'm pretty sure I've seen them in the Marriott.

The Radisson has a poker room as well. Not high limit stakes.

i liked the Casino In Renaissance Market Place. Not crowded, had a sports book, so when i played the horses, my fiance could play slots.

On our next trip, were going to visit more casinos n stuff

We were surprised, pleasantly, by the Aura casino at Occidental. Cool, clean and quiet with good drink service. Penny slots that paid and decent tables. Not loud or full of smoke.
Alhambra was good. Things were moved around for construction. Hit a $229.00 win on a thirty cent bet, so that was fine for me. Will take forever to get that construction done where the DD and stores were located.
Westin was also pretty good and everyone wanted to return. Active tables.
Rad and Hyatt still plunk down dirty coins which catches you by surprise and sends you looking for a cup.
Riu was loud and we didn't stay too long.
Stopped in Crystal, downtown one day. Everything is exactly the way it has been for the last few years. So, if you liked it then, you will like it now. Hard to get used to female attendants walking in and out of the Mens room though.
