    Aruba Casino's

We just returned from Aruba last week. We stopped by the new Westin Casino and personally liked the old casino much better. Also on our Casino agenda was Marriott Stellaris Casino. There was a big bingo game going on during the day when we stopped by with many, many locals playing. It was extremely difficult to get a parking spot outside. You could hardly get near a slot machine. We stayed at the Divi Beach resort and noticed the parking lot of Alhambra Casino is in the process of being enlarged. We did not go into the Alhambra Casino in the evening but it did look like they were going through a renovation. I do hope management of Alhambra adds better ventilation because it is so smokey inside the Casino and not fair to the non smokers. We not visit Crystal Casino this trip, but have had some good luck there during other visits to Aruba. We have not been to Hyatt's Casino in a few years but did like that Casino very much when we did visit.

We stay at the Marriott Surf Club so the Stellaris is convenient but I like the Hyatt (live music while you lose ) and the Riu has a decent casino too. The Alhambra is always fun but is now under renovation. The only casino we really disliked is at the Holiday Inn as it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Are they both in Marina Hotel, or is there 1 in each hotel? And why didn't you like Seaport? And why did you like Crystal?

Also, is 1 more smokey than the other? I hated going to local casinos and smelling like an ash tray, because the smoke just swallowed up the rooms.

the crystal is in the renaissance marina hotel.

the seaport casino is in a separate building across the way from the renaissance marina, and about 150 yds away from the renaissance suites.

he likes the crystal because he wins there on occasion.
neither of us like the seaport, just because we don't

they all pretty much stink of smoke.

the least smokey imo is the marriott.

The Crystal Casino is the only casino with decent odds at video poker (9-6 for Jacks or better for those who know what that means). No other casino has anything close to that in my experience.

My favorite casino, though, is the Hyatt. Love the atmosphere and the band.

I would say that the Hyatt is our favorite. They were supposed to be renovating the Occidental casino, does anyone know if that has been completed?
