For several years, it was my dream to buy it out, and restore it to the kind of place it was when we first visited.
Bring back good hard-rock music, saddle seats as bar-stools, good-looking female bartenders, allow bikes to be ridden up, and good grub. This of course was dependant on winning one of our lotteries. My better half would shake her head, give me that sad 'you-really-are-thick' look, and ask "why work if you win ?" Soooo, after not being able to come up with a good reason, guess she wins, again, and I'll just continue to be a customer.... |

We were in Aruba when it went up in flames. Woke up the next morning and walked out onto our balcony at Amsterdam Manor and it smelled like someone was burning something (horrible smell)....later that day we found out that it burned down overnight.
Drove by it and it's just charred ruins now.
