Brit pubs.

I know this is going to raise an eyebrow or two, but does anyone know if there is either
(a) a British type pub anywhere on the island, as in maybe downtown or perhaps in one of the hotel lounges or
(b) anyplace to perhaps get cider on the island?
We're meeting friends from England, and as much as everyone loves the local beers and such, not everyone drinks beer for whatever reason. Granted, the obvious solution is to pack our own, but weight could be an issue. Are we even allowed to bring something like a can of cider or 3 in the luggage? (No, not carry on, I realize that...)

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I know I'm likely going a stretch here, but anything is possible in paradise... or so we would like to think.

6 more weeks, or 42 more snoozes, oh, will this waiting ever end....?

Thank you for the response Cosmo.
Now that I know there's one on the island, could anyone give me a hint as to where Kildaire's might be?
Is that the place downtown just off the main street? Down where Carlos 'n Charlies used to be?
Sounds familiar, but not too sure.

I'm not sure if Kildare's is still there. Haven't heard anything about the place in a long time.

I can only vouch to its existence through April of 2008.

We went to Kildare's in May 2008. There were about 10 people in there. I don't know if it's still open but it was next to Senor Frogs. We were able to get cider at the Paddock as well. That's downtown too.

And just when I thought Aruba couldn't get any better.
