    i just got the word.
they are not moving into the other space that they had talked about originally.

    it is all financial issues.

    sad.

in hindsight i am glad our friend and forum member, mark, sold his share of the business last yr.

hopefully they will pull it together and reopen in another location ??
    hate to see business fail.

That's such a shame. I have to admit, I never stopped in, but it looked like a really nice place from the outside.

Andrea, I would say (in my own humble opinion) that the financial issues were a direct result of management issues. We spent a lot of time there in their few short years of business and have made friends with many of the people who have work at Busters. I honestly hope that they are able to re-open if they can. We certainly had our fair share of fun at Busters :-) and they had the potential to be a goldmine.

Apparently I cannot complete a thought while typing on a Monday morning. :-) My point behind my comment about management issues is that we heard about and saw a lot of things that just did not coincide with what I would call standard operating procedure for a professional place of business. Again, that is just my own personal opinion and I truly hope that they are able to open up in another location when the time is right.

My wife and I were just there the end of March and we spoke to one of the owners Rusty and he told us that he might be moving to where Hooters is now, because they are moving at least that is what we were told. We will look into it when we get down there this Saturday. Buster's is where we watch the Raven's games when we go in Sept.

This is what we heard today. Buster's is moving to where Kukomo's was, at the Palm Beach mall, up on the second floor. they should be close to opening. I haven't seen anything going on there but we haven't looked up there either. Hooters and Benihanna's
are moving. over by the South Beach Bar. I think Benihanna's is moving to where Busters was. The owners of SBB have closed a lot of places they own right there and are renting out those spots.
If i hear more i'll let you know..

Buster's is fairly new... We were there a couple years back before the bathrooms were even operational. Watched a couple great Jets games there during a buy one get one happy hour. Good memories!

i really like busters alot..great place to watch games..wife was told by the owner to watch her pocketbook this past march..lot of young local kids hanging around..the only problem i saw was they didn't have balashi on tap anymore..now how does a local business not even have the island's local beer on tap..they used to but not anymore..i hope they get it together because their food was good and the place was alot of fun..
