Carlos & Charlies

I saw a thread recommending Carlos & Charlies for late night drinks and a younger crowd. I searched for the site to find out more and came across a site(link below) saying that they were closed. Is this True????

http://www.carlosncharliesaruba.com/

Can anyone recommend more places like this?????

Carlos and Charlies closed in January. Next door and upstairs (on the left) is now Senor Frogs http://www.senorfrogs.com/ which is owned by the same parent company as C&C. Most of the same people that worked at C&C now work at SF. Another place for music & dancing is Mambo Jambo's at Royal Plaza Mall (next to the bus station). You can see their music schedule on http://www.mambojamboaruba.com/index_flash.html

Senor Frogs was a blast. It's really a young crowd in there. We also enjoyed Soprano's piano bar.

Yup, I couldn't believe they had closed down C&C. I've yet to go to Senor Frogs.

Thank God Carlos and Charlies is gone. I won't even go into detail on my thoughts and memories of that place.

We just stopped at Senor Frogs last evening for a drink. Sat out on the balcony watching a cruise ship loading up it's day passengers. It was very pleasant. The "stools" at the bar were hanging life preserver rings...not sure how comfortable that would be. It was not crowded at all, but it was early. I looked around but didn't see any signs of a waterslide that some people mentioned. Maybe I missed it, but seems like it would have been obvious.

I need to get back to Aruba!!!

Water slide is in upper level. Bottom of slide is at second floor balcony, street-side. It is there! Drinks are strong there....maybe that's why you couldn't find slide????? Good for you!!
