Casino - Any big winners out there?
just wondering if it's even worth getting one's hopes high in regards to the chance of winning big at a casino in aruba. the most i've ever won (my wife actually) was $1000 at the slots in radisson.
anyone else care to share the winnings and where? does anyone know if one casino has better payouts than the rest? |

As with any casino I guess I would say good luck and don't expect to win anything. LOL-my wife and I won about $800.00 in the Stellaris Casino at the Marriot Resort last year. That win was a combination of Carribean Stud Poker and the slots. It was a great night since it was our first night there on our honeymoon. A couple of days later we went to a casino in Oranjestad and lost about $200. in a 1/2 hour-so in summary that is how the luck is, it comes and goes. Have a great time and don't expect to win and just have fun, you never know when the dials on the slot machine are all going to line up.

Won $750 at Alhambra a few years ago...last year I think I won about 150 as the same place. Also hit for about 250 at the Seaport casino early one morning. Husband and I walked through just to see what was going on and I put 5dollars in a nickel machine and won big.....However, I would say over the past years we have been going I am certainly in the negative dollars!!!
We just go to have fun and hope for the big one...LOL..

Not big winnings but big to me. I was on a 4 day roll at the old Lacabana Casino. I was playing roulet small bets also. They tried everything to break my Mojo, kept changing dealers, stopped serving me drinks, doubled my drinks (Ha like that would work) they even shut down the table for "repairs". Finally on the fifth day I crashed started to loose but Im happy to say I walked away for the rest of the vacation. When all was said and done $5200.00 was the take. Im sure I have given it back since then. That's my one big casino win in Aruba. My biggest win was when I first found Aruba, cant beat that.

I am not very lucky so I very seldom win at any casino. On the other hand, my wife is very lucky. A few years ago she hit the .25
slots at the Alhambra 3 times in a 2 week period and she won about $1,300 each time. Last year, also at the Alhambra, she hit a royal flush on the video poker machine for $1,000.

never lose your hope on a big win.
yrs ago, paul and i won enough money playing slots and craps and roulette (but mostly on 25cent and dollar slots) to purchase a timeshare at the timeshare resale real estte place ![]() it was a very weird experience, fun but incredibly weird. during that vacation, we had looked at lacabana timeshare directly thru lacabana. it was priced more than we wanted to spend although it was a great unit and the week that we wanted. we took their "gifts" and said thank you but no thank you to the unit. then with the gifts, which was a $100 in quarters and $200 in match play coupons, we parlayed that money into enough to buy a similar unit thru resale. so yes some folks do have big wins. that was our one and only. every time we go to aruba, we set aside enough money for casino play that we are willing to lose. (typically $35 each per night) during all of our visits, i would say we broke even more than losing. clear as mud right? have a great vacation andrea Quote:
