In 2006 I won $8500 on a penny machine. Two days later I won $3700 on the same game but different machine. Both at Crystal Casino.
I only play penny machines. Your best bet to win big on slot machines is playing the progressive games. Penny slots can pay out big, as mentioned, and you can last longer then on a .50 or 1.00 machine.
The first big win they took my picture next to the machine for the local paper. The second time when the casino started to take my picture they realized I was already in the camera and decided not to take the picture.
I bet they were happy we left the Island the next day.
A little loss in 2007, about $200 the whole trip.

Oct, 2008 here we come.

Will try again this year. Husband does the same, plans on spending about 50/night and if it's gone on 1st couple of passes we find something else to do for the evening.....maybe this year could be our year....enough to pay for the whole trip and then some......thinking small but wishing big !!!!

last feb my wife wanted more jewelery. i said win it. she did @ alhambra! she kept winning on the slots and would go back to kay and upgrade stuff she bought previously. she upgraded her tanzanite bracelet, pendant and earrings. think she won about $3,000 all together. i broke even on craps table for the trip so we came out way ahead. beat the year before when we lost alot.

You got a lucky wife marc. I keep giving to the casino in Aruba, but they never give anything back to me.

Well, I think it was two years ago, I put a quarter in the 25 cent slot machine and immediately won $1500 at the Radisson.

The group we travel with to Aruba has been very lucky at the Stellaris casino in the Marriott hotel. The craziest win was when my husband won $1,900 playing one penny! He had one credit left in a penny slot...he hit "spin" and immediately won the jackpot. The machine he was playing gave out jackpots randomly, so he didn't even need a winning combination! My best friend also won the Jackpot Party progressive which was $2,700.

Wins can happen..... I saw a woman from Toronto win 33k at Caribbean Stud at the Radisson late one night a month ago.... I hit a dollar royal at the Radisson for 4k last year... and the year before that I won enough at blackjack to pay for all meals, activities, taxis, tips and massages during our trip.... My biggest win was, of course,.... discovering ARUBA...!

Thats why I stay away from anything other than Texas Hold Em. Sure they take thier Rake/Time, but you don't have to live with the Casino's odds.

a big win is relative. as long as you have a few beers and lose slowly, it sure beats atlantic city.
