Casino Dress Code

What is the dress code like at the casinos? More casual during the day and a little dressier at night? Thanks!

casual or resort casual.
not beach casual, but casual nonetheless.

during the evenings, maybe 10% +/- are dressed more formally, but not formal at all.
rarely you will see a few folks in "dress up" mode.

women....short sets, skirt sets, sun dresses, shorts and tops.
men... khaki shorts and golf shirts are the norm.

typically i wear a short set.
dh wears a collared shirt and khaki shorts.

I agree very casual attire. How is the Alahambra's Casino construction going? Seems to be a very busy casino more than others??? We'll be there in August.

i have been told that the Alhambra construction/renovation is SLOW.
we saw the beginnings of it in august 2010. more of it in december 2010. and i hear it is still not even 1/3 done.

i think that the alhambra and the marriott and the crystal are all pretty busy.

Don't forget a sweater. Sometimes the casinos can be chilly as well as the restaurants.

One very important thing to keep in mind when dressing for a trip to the casinos. They will be quite upset if you come in with empty pockets.

No problem leaving with empty pockets.
