    Casino win reactions?

Okay, this is a really silly, stupid question, but I'm curious. When you win at the casino and feel the excitement do you tend to jump and shout with joy? I feel the excitement but don't tend to vocalize it. I may let out a big WooHoo when we get back to the hotel and I'm counting out my new found cash but that's about it. When we were at the Seaport last trip I was at a slot machine that was being really good to me. As the free spins kept coming and the machine got noisy the woman who was next to me stop playing, and started routing for my machine, standing in back of me yelling, hooting and hollering. It was kind of funny! What's your reaction to a win.

In my mind I am pumping my fist with excitement but you would have never know I won 50 or 2000 by my initial reaction.

How about relief....! Yes, the fist pump internally and the impatience waiting for the manual payout.

My big difference between praying in church and praying in a casino...... in the casino, I really, really, really mean it!

    hahahahahahaha re: the church comment.

once at the alhambra, i won $1000 2x on the same slot machine.
the second time i said out loud (but not yelling) Thank you Jesus.
well, that was a big mistake.
one of the spectators reamed me up and down telling me that HE would not approve of gambling.

i collected my $ and slinked away, damned to hell for eternity.

Aren't people funny. If the spectator didn't feel that HE would approve of gambling why was "he" in the casino!

My husband and I are complete opposites. He's a big "make a scene" guy when he wins (like someone call security this guy is out of control lol) and I get all excited inside but tend not to vocalize it. 2 years ago I was playing 3-card poker at the Radisson and was betting the minimum. I was playing at a table with a father/son who were putting ALOT of money down at the table. I hit TWO straight flushes within an hour of each other and hardly batted an eye since I knew the 2 gentlemen were probably cursing me as their wins would have been SIGNIFICANTLY higher than mine. Hubby comes strolling over about 1/2 hour later, sees my chip pile and looks at me with his mouth open. I non-chalantly told him and he ended up doing my hooting and hollering for me

Peg, we aren't big gamblers maybe $50 a night max. I think my largest win was just under a hundred bucks, but you'd have thought I hit Powerball

I play blackjack at casinos. There are no big jackpots in BJ. You either win the amount you bet or 1 time the amount you bet. There aren't opportunities for a big celebration.
