Question Casinos

I am heading to Aruba for the first time 3/17 and would like to know a little about the casinos...are they like Vegas, Mohegan or Foxwoods...are the drinks free when you are gambling...is there a cover charge????

I can only comment on the casino at the Hyatt. It is very nice. They usually have a band playing cover songs. There is no cover charge to enter. I think the minimum age to gamble is 18. I think most of the games are the same as you will find in the casinos you mentioned. The Hyatt casino does not have poker. Drinks are free if you are gambling. What makes the casino most like the ones that you mentioned, is that you can lose your money the same way! Best of Luck

The casinos are nice, smaller, some better than others. NO way do they compare to Foxwoods or Mohegan - what I mean they are very small in comparison to Foxwoods and Mohegan, thus not the large # of slots, table games - Yet have had many a fun night in the casinos in Aruba, I find the marriott to have the best play in terms of the table games.

I agree that the casinos are nowhere NEAR the size of Mohegan or Foxwoods. Our favorites are the Hyatt and the Marriott; the Marriott being the larger of the 2.

To poster "Waltham".....are you from Waltham, MA?
