Are there casinos within a short walk of La Cabana or do they have their own casino.

The only Casino by La Cabana that is a short walk is Key Largo, a temporary Casino until The Aruban Resort gets enough money to finish their permanent Casino. Key Largo is by The Aruban Resort (the old Villas) which is behind La Cabana. From La Cabana you can either walk or in front of The Aruban there is a shuttle which I usually take at night. The other Casino's are a few minutes away by car or bus.

I have seen a bunch of people from La Cabana at The Alhambra but you'd have to drive.

the alhambra casino is about a 15 minute walk from the LaCabana.
a pleasant walk in the daytime!

at night it is dark (poorly lit) and the sidewalks are uneven

then there is always the option of the bus that stops across the street and heads back and stops just outside the amsterdam manor (next dorro to lacabana)
