It really pays to go All-Inclusive if you like to drink. I have stayed at the Tamarijn 14 times now and love it..
Next Trip September sometime or the other..

How about beer prices. We normally purchase our beer from Ling and Sons, but does anyone know of a better, less expensive place to buy cases of Balashi, and Bright?

My 2 cents is there is WAY to much good food in the island to go all inclusive just for drinks. We also like to drink quite a bit while on vacation. As indicated, go to lings and get beer by the case and also mixers for drinks. There is a rum shop down just below Lings you can get cheap bottles of regular, coconut rums. We even bring our own margarita maker as my carry on (blades in checked).

This will make the drinking at close to home prices and allow you to experience the excellent cuisine in Aruba!

Go the the ex-pat Dutch bar called the 080 cafe, in Noord. it is about 1 1/4 miles from where the Wendy's and Thai Restaurant are. Just follow that road past Wacky Wahoo's and go to the traffic light. Make a left and go past the main entrance to Caribbean Palm Village.
It is on the right side, no more than 1/4 mile from where you made the left. It is a fun place & def less expensive than the beach & hotel bars. Great fries

I enjoy going to Mulligan's at the Divi Village Golf Resort. They have a great selection of beer and the food is very good. I think they are the one of the few places where you can get a 20oz Balashi draft for $6.50. It is located just below Windows on Aruba. If there is a sporting event we want to watch we go there and the bartenders are more than happy to put the game on.

Busters was a pretty good value when it was in the palm beach area. Not sure if the prices have changed much since they moved.
