Schanker said in his first post "I attempted to shoot using my newly developed talents and found that casinos in Aruba are not tolerant of "control shooters". I made several numbers in the Marriot and was told I could not "set" the dice. I laughed and continue to set the dice and float them to the backboard and the "stick man" took the dice away from me and pointed to a sign by the pit boss which said " NO SETTING OF DICE". I took down my bets and left. I had the same experience at the Raddison where they had a similar sign."

    personal attacks are not allowed
    neither are insults

    from the rules

Have respect for other opinions. If you disagree with someone, do not attack them personally. Try to make thoughtful comments about their opinion, perspective, assumptions, etc., but do not attack them personally. Everyone has an opinion based on a number of different factors, like their own personal experiences, values, etc. If someone disagrees with you, it is probably because they value one thing more than another. Attacking them does nothing but create anger and resentment. Discussing the values and perspective that underlies their opinions may increase your understanding and it may encourage them to see your perspective as well. Personal attacks are the tools of someone who probably doesn’t have a very good point to make, or of someone who holds a belief that has no foundation in reasoned thought.

I was not flagrantly breaking the rules.
I was unaware of the rule and as soon as I was told I pulled down my bets and left that casino.
As I said the Westin not only allowed it they assisted me by returning the dice in the hardway set.
    Schanker,

In almost every sport and activity there are rules. Most people seem to accept and adhere to these. If you choose to engage doing what you want, and not following the rules in various establishments, then that is of course your decision. If the establishment points out their position and you decide to fold then that is again your decision and fine. I do not understand your intensity regarding this and why you made the particularly disparaging remark to Andrea who seemed to be conducting a reasonable discussion on the matter. I would hope there is a chance at an apology??

    Regards
