Date rape drugs at Clubs/bars?
Is there a lot of problems with people trying to put date rape drugs in your drinks if you go out to the clubs or bars there? Does it happen a lot? Thanks
I'm taking my wife to Aruba!!!

My 18 yo niece went to the clubs at night and had no problems.

You are really fast at answering all my questions lol. Thank you for that. Yeah im not much for bar hoping and a big party guy. I just like knowing things that are going on around me. I don't like to be cough off guard ya know. Thank you

eric, aruba is not afflicted with such filth and crime. the island is comprised mostly of american tourist - families and honeymooners. you hardly see singles there. it's not like cancun or cabo where you would have uncontrolled drunknesses on the streets. the locals are also very cordial and friendly to tourist. you don't have to worry about your safety.

Although you never hear about that kind of thing....and I have been going for many years, common sense must always be a priorty when going out to party...Aruba or here in the States...If you are planning on going out please take your drink with you, or make sure the person you are with watches it....It is too late the next day.....Everywhere I have ever gone I have flet safe, but that doesn't mean you can be lax and careless.........Have a good time though and let us know how it went !!!!

those of us who have been to other caribbean countries are astounded by the safety and comfort level in aruba.

nonetheless, we do always have to be careful, especially in the bars where the "bad cocktail drugs" could be dispensed by an unscrupulous punk.
