If you feel like getting off the beach mid-day, the businesses downtown have a very very long pagara on the 31st. Check out the videos on youtube.

the street that has DAKOTA strip mall has a huge.............2oo yds worth of the pagara on the 31st. stop at any of the businesses along the way before the 21st to ask the time of the "explosions".
paul and i felt we were at a warzone. our ears have never been quite right since.

Where would you suggest is the best place to be to see the fireworks? Are they set off from the store area? I would assume the high-rises would block the view if you're on the beach.
Have you seen the display in prior years? Do you know how long it usually lasts? |

the display lasts about 30+ minutes
i would recommend being in the parking lots near the store.

There was plenty of parking until the lot filled, but everyone listened to the simulcast on their car radios
The fireworks were every bit as good as Disney's 4th of July fireworks.
