Does anyone know if the Key Largo Casino was able to open back up? I know that they had not as of the end of March but hoping...............

no not opened

the entire shootin match is going to auction on or about may 6.

the resort is opened
i have 2 friends staying there and both are saying there are only about 20 - 30 units occupied.
very quiet VERY quiet

here's hoping that someone with very deep pockets buys the resort and gets all back on track.

I hope so too. My husband and I stay at La Cabana and will be there in two weeks.

He really liked going over to that casino after I was ready to call it a night. Oh well, I look forward to trying out their new pool bar and I am glad Dunkin's is open!

the LaCabana casino (in the space where the old captains table restaurant was) is tentatively slated to open in december.
i have not heard whether they have received all of their permits yet.
