Koka's
Hi - returning to Aruba next month after a 5 year absence and can't wait. Previously stayed at the Aruba Grand for the 7 years we visited and it was wonderful, clean, and great people.
The bar that use to be at the DePalma Pier, Koka's ... is it still there? We were there for the opening of that establishment and always found it to end a beach day or catch a sunset. Remembering those days brings a smile to good memories with the great crew (Baz, Jerry, Tim, Natisha, to name a few) that worked there .... was always nice to come "home" with a welcome. Thanks. |

Sadly, both the Aruba Grand (we had been staying there since '96 - lanai #220 on the end by the beach was "our room") and the Kokoa Bar are no more.
![]() The Bugaloe Bar that replaced the Kokoa is great with good bartenders and good drinks and food. It's still not the Kokoa but....it works!
