When we did it a couple years ago ages ranged from late teens to early 60's. We were in our early 30's at the time.
It's a fun time - although I dont think I'd do it more than once.

We are mid 30's and had a great time. Our trip had a mixture of ages, but mostly late 20's-mid 30's on the night we went. We hung out with a family group that was a couple different generations and I don't think it was really an issue for anyone. The music was mostly dance, hiphop type stuff, with a few sing along Grease musical tunes and other well known songs thrown in for fun. They post group pics on their facebook page if you want to check it out. My co-worker and his wife are in their 50's and were first to recommend it to us. I think the key to enjoying yourself is going into the night with a carefree attitude...let go and have fun, just let yourself be silly, I mean you are never going to see these people again most likely. We aren't the best dancers and usually avoid it, but something about the bus just got us in the mood and we had a blast at all the stops.
