Not sure where the best place is - but be prepared for fireworks EVERYWHERE!

We're going to Aruba for NYE this year, too (this will be our 23rd trip to Aruba but first time during NYE). Most of the hotels and restaurants will have special NYE menus and parties so you'll need to look into a few and see what sounds good to you.

Fireworks are everywhere at midnight and the best place to see them is at a high point (up a couple of stories) looking inland. Some people also drive to the lighthouse as well for a good view.

So far I think our plan of action is to attend the 5-course NYE dinner party/dancing at Amsterdam Manor and then check out the fireworks from outside of the rooms at The Aruban next door which will give us some good height (a few stories up) and also face inland.

Did NYE last year, had dinner on the beach at the Radisson, then went to their penthouse for more drinks, food, music $$ and the fireworks.....best time ever
