That is the first I have ever heard of the Occidental Casino have any poker tables. Has anyone else ever seen poker tables at the old Occidental Casino?

But, yes, the new casino, called the Aura is supposed to have a poker room, nice enough to try to lure the WPT back to Aruba. I haven't been. Let us know how it is.

Just came back from 8 days @ Occidental.
Redone Casino very nice & well lit.
Now a big Cash bar straight back from entrance.

    I'm a poker player though.
I read in a few places of them opening a "poker room"
Its in the back left close to the bathrooms.
It was 90% done the day I arrived
It was 91% done the day I left 8 days later.
    Installing lighting very very slowly.
So I went often to Radisson or Holiday Inn to play.
Boy do they work slow! (really just not working on it)
It looks like it will be 3-4 tables eventually.

I heard that the owners of this new Casino are same owners as Holiday Inn's "Excelsior", and that this summer Holiday inn is going to renovate poker room (or entire casino) & send (have signs?) directing players to go to Occ during renovations
