I have not done the kunuku, but one major difference is the dinner. You are given dinner on the Kunuku, but not on the banana bus. I did the banana bus two years ago, and am looking to book it during my wedding week in aruba. On our last trip, the ages on the bus (primarily our party) were from 21 to 80. We had a blast and are looking forward to doing it again.

Next Aruba trip in

no dilemma, either way you have a great time!

it is possible you saw a children's private party aboard the bus, the day you saw them zipping by. Also in the morning hours the Banana does island tours and also cruise ship transfers.

Twice I have rented the Banana Bus myself for my 8yrolds bday parties. There are 4-5 Banana busses and they are popular for kid's parties, booked privately.

In addition to the usual "bar hopping" evenings aboard the Banana Bus, on Thursday NIght's the Banana Bus offers a Dinner and Show which will pick you up at your hotel at 7:30pm for $45

It inc dinner at Mambo Jambo and dancing with two drinks included.

Hope this helps!

I did the Kuku in June with another couple and had a great time. Looking forward to booking it for next year as well. Don't expect a great dinner. It's just a base for the belly to get you going.
